• Preformed Vitamin A (Retinol): Found directly in animal-based foods such as liver, fish liver oil, egg yolks, and full-fat dairy products.

• Provitamin A (Carotenoids): Found primarily in plant-based foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, and pumpkin, with beta-carotene being the most significant, as it can be converted into retinol in the human body as needed.

• Vision Health: It is a key component of "rhodopsin," a light-absorbing protein in the retina's photoreceptor cells, essential for maintaining vision in low light (night vision).

4. Safety & Dosage
