Jinnan cattle

The Jinnan cattle are a large draft and beef dual-purpose breed. They have a tall, solid body structure with typical characteristics of draft cattle. Bulls have medium-length heads, broad foreheads, forward-facing horns, relatively short and thick necks, well-developed dewlaps, broad chests, inconspicuous shoulder humps, narrow rumps, large and round hooves with dense texture. Cows have refined heads and poorly developed udders with small teats. The coat color is primarily chestnut red, with pinkish nasal mirrors and mostly pinkish hooves and claws. Jinnan cattle are robust in build, with large girths, long bodies, broad chests, and wide backs and loins. Adult cattle exhibit more developed front quarters than hindquarters, demonstrating good draft conformation.
