Shanxi Yufeng Tiansheng Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. completed the first phase of its project in September 2022. The current facilities include five beef cattle fattening barns, nine silage pits, two distiller's grains fermentation tanks, and one hay shed. The company now raises over 1,500 Simmental beef cattle and is equipped with a full set of precision feed processing equipment, TMR mixers, feed spreaders, and a series of automated and mechanized farming devices. The company has established in-depth cooperation with Shanxi Agricultural University and the Shanxi Modern Agricultural Beef Cattle Industry System. Through new breed cultivation, expansion, and standardized beef cattle farming, the company aims to improve breeding efficiency and produce high-quality premium beef cattle.

The second phase of the beef cattle farm involves an expansion project with an investment of 70 million yuan. This project is a key initiative aimed at extending, supplementing, and strengthening the beef cattle industry chain, integrating forage cultivation, beef cattle breeding, slaughtering and processing, harmless disposal of manure, and brand building. The second phase plans to construct one 50,000-square-meter beef cattle breeding shed, accompanied by supporting infrastructure such as greening, lighting, manure treatment, water and electricity supply, road networks, and audio equipment. The farm is expected to accommodate over 4,000 beef cattle.

The second phase of the farm is one of the key projects under the "Three Grasps and Three Promotions" campaign vigorously promoted by Xiaobai Township, Taigu District. The enterprise will adopt a "leading enterprise + base + cooperative + farmers" model to vigorously develop the beef cattle farming industry, explore innovative breeding models, improve interest linkage mechanisms, and contribute to the scientific, large-scale, and industrialized development of animal husbandry in Taigu District. This initiative will lead more farmers onto the "cattle" path of income growth and prosperity, injecting "new" vitality into rural development. It not only brings new opportunities for the development of Xiaobai Township but also provides an excellent model for project construction to help farmers in Taigu District increase their income and achieve prosperity.
