[Main Composition] Dimetridazole
[Description] This drug is an off-white or slightly yellow powder.
[Drug Interactions] Combination therapy with other anti-histomoniasis drugs is prohibited.
[Indications] This drug is an antiprotozoal agent, indicated for swine dysentery and avian histomoniasis.
[Dosage and Administration] Calculated based on this drug. Mixing into feed: 1000~2500 g of this drug per 1000 kg of feed for pigs; 400~2500 g of this drug per 1000 kg of feed for chickens.
[Adverse Reactions] Chickens are relatively sensitive to this drug, and high doses may cause balance disorders and hepatic and renal impairment.
[Precautions] (1) Combination therapy with other anti-histomoniasis drugs is prohibited.
(2) Continuous administration in chickens should not exceed 10 days.
(3) Contraindicated in laying hens during laying period.
[Withdrawal Period] 28 days for pigs and chickens.
