[Main Composition] Carbasalate calcium
[Description] This drug is a white or off-white powder.
[Indications] This drug is an antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory agent, indicated for the control of fever and pain in pigs and chickens.
[Dosage and Administration] Calculated based on this drug. Oral administration (single dose, per 1 kg body weight): 80 mg for pigs; 80~160 mg for chickens.
Mixing into water: Add 100 g of this drug per 200 kg of water, administer for 3 consecutive days.
[Adverse Reactions] No adverse reactions have been observed when administered according to the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions] (1) Do not administer to hens laying eggs for human consumption during the laying period.
(2) Do not administer concomitantly with other salicylate antipyretic analgesics.
(3) Its concurrent use with glucocorticoids may exacerbate gastrointestinal hemorrhage, co-administration with alkaline agents will reduce therapeutic efficacy.
(4) Continuous administration should not exceed 5 days.
