Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group, and Aida Cruises jointly announced that the second domestic large-scale cruise ship "Aida Huacheng" is scheduled to be delivered on November 6, 2026, nearly two months earlier than originally planned. The ship has a total length of 341 meters and a gross tonnage of 141900. It has 2130 rooms, a full load of 5232 passengers, and is equipped with more than 20 restaurants and bars, a thousand-person theater, a shopping center, an art gallery and other comprehensive facilities. As a sister ship of the "Ada Mordor", its construction efficiency has been improved by 20%, the total progress of the project has been completed by 96%, the installation and commissioning have been completed by 87% and 76% respectively, and a trial voyage is planned in mid-May. The design of the cruise ship has been upgraded in an all-round way, the hull is more slender, the atrium area is doubled, the interior decoration is themed with "flowers" and integrates art nouveau style, and it is equipped with intelligent technology to enhance the guest experience. After delivery, the "Ida Huacheng" will start its first sailing season from the home port of Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise.
