Maritime authorities from five cities in the Bohai Rim region have signed a memorandum of cooperation to enable one-stop processing of nine high-frequency maritime administrative services across all jurisdictions.

On April 28, the maritime departments of Dongjiang, Caofeidian, Dalian, Qingdao, and Yantai in the four provinces and cities of the Bohai Rim Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, and Shandong jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation to formally promote the cross-regional maritime government business of the Bohai Rim Pilot Free Trade Zone Office. The move aims to smooth the circulation of shipping elements in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Bohai Rim regions, provide government services for the efficient operation of the billion-ton port groups such as Tianjin Port, Dalian Port and Qingdao Port, and inject new momentum into the northern shipping economy to improve quality and efficiency.
