The Hebei Maritime Bureau’s Youth Commando Team for the Peak Tourism Season Conducts a Joint Study and Co‑construction Activity.

Recently, during the peak tourist season, the Youth Commando Team of the Hebei Maritime Bureau carried out a series of branch-building and professional study activities at the Qinhuangdao Rescue Base of the Beihai Rescue Bureau. These efforts aim to consolidate a strong synergy for a coordinated land-sea maritime safety protection network, guided by the red of Party building and safeguarded by the youthful strength protecting the blue coastline.

"How to rescue trapped individuals in rough seas?" "What are the uses of professional rescue equipment?" "What are the differences in application scenarios between sonar detection and metal detection?" With these questions in mind, 31 representatives from 13 Youth Commando Teams stationed in Qin during the peak tourist season visited the Qinhuangdao Rescue Base of the Beihai Rescue Bureau to embark on a maritime rescue study tour. The young team members learned on-site about maritime emergency response procedures, the usage scenarios and applications of life-saving and salvage equipment, and emergency rescue tools. They experienced up close the rescue spirit of generations of rescuers who braved the winds and waves and faced dangers head-on, comprehensively honing and enhancing their emergency response and collaborative rescue capabilities.

During the activity, participants also watched a documentary on the rescue and salvage work of the Beihai Rescue Bureau, immersing themselves in the dedication and responsibility of maritime rescuers who face dangers and remain steadfast on the front lines.

All the commando team members expressed their determination to fully play their pioneering and exemplary roles, remain true to their original aspirations and missions, and proactively shoulder responsibilities. They pledged not to retreat in the face of risks, not to shirk challenges, and to take the lead in tackling heavy tasks. They aim to charge forward and strive for excellence in urgent, difficult, and dangerous missions, adhering to Party building as a guiding force to empower comprehensive maritime governance.
