Shenzhen Joins Hands with Hainan to Build Qiongshen Logistics Channel
Recently, Shenzhen Port Logistics Group and Hainan Province Logistics Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement, reaching a consensus on deepening cross-regional logistics cooperation and empowering high-quality industrial development in both areas. This is an important measure for Shenzhen Port Logistics Group to seize the major opportunity of the Hainan Free Trade Port's closure operation and implement the construction of Shenzhen Port Group's "Five Channels," effectively promoting the efficient connection of Hainan Free Trade Port, Qiongzhou Strait, and the new western land-sea corridor, further improving the national logistics network layout.
According to the agreement, both parties will leverage the resource endowments and industrial demands of Qiong and Shenzhen to cooperate, relying on Hainan Province Logistics Group's advantages in port and shipping resources, park infrastructure, and logistics network within Hainan Province, and Shenzhen Port Logistics Group's rich experience in logistics asset management and operation, excellent port and shipping integration capabilities, and logistics network resources in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and key regions nationwide, to jointly promote the high-quality development of Qiong-Shenzhen logistics integration. The cooperation focuses on three directions:
Opening the Qiong-Shenzhen cross-border logistics channel to reduce regional logistics costs and solve the bottleneck of industrial logistics in Hainan Province; establishing a comprehensive international supply chain channel for new energy vehicles to enhance the global competitiveness of Hainan Province's new energy industry; promoting the deep connection between the Qiong-Shenzhen logistics network and the new western land-sea corridor to facilitate regional integration development.
Meanwhile, both parties will participate in logistics projects such as Hainan Province's new energy export and agricultural product cold chain, exporting the "Shenzhen Port Logistics" operation model, accelerating Shenzhen Port Logistics Group's transformation into a platform-based enterprise, enhancing the ability to integrate industrial chain resources and brand influence, and accumulating experience for cross-regional cooperation.
Shenzhen Port Logistics Group will take this cooperation as an opportunity, using the construction of the Qiong-Shenzhen logistics channel as a fulcrum, to further expand the dimensions of logistics services, accelerate the construction of a full-chain logistics service system, fully leverage its advantages according to the strategic cooperation deployment of Guangdong and Hainan provinces, jointly serve the construction of a strong domestic market, assist in the mutual development of Guangdong and Hainan to yield more fruitful results, and make greater contributions to expanding high-level opening-up for the new development pattern.
