　　Shanghai, March 20 (Xie Mengyuan, Yin Liqin) On the 20th, China Tourism Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Tourism Group") and China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CSSC") officially signed the "Large Cruise Ship New Construction Project Cooperation Memorandum" in Shanghai. The two parties will cooperate on the design, construction, and operation management of large cruise ships, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the entire industrial chain of China's cruise economy through the strategic path of "batch construction and series operation".

　　According to the memorandum, both parties will fully leverage China Tourism Group's "soft power" in the cultural and tourism operation field and CSSC's "hard power" in the equipment manufacturing field to achieve a full chain connection from market demand to ship design, from construction delivery to operation service. The signing of this cooperation memorandum marks that China's cruise industry has crossed the stages of "introduction and learning" and "digestion and absorption", officially entering a new development stage characterized by "independent innovation".

　　As China's largest tourism central enterprise, China Tourism Group will lead the market demand analysis and product definition, relying on its deep accumulation in customer organization, route development, cruise operation, as well as scenic spots, hotels, and duty-free business, to provide precise input for the cabin layout, service facilities, entertainment, and dining of the new ship, providing a solid guarantee for China's large cruise ships to move from "successful construction" to "successful operation".

　　CSSC will fully unleash its hard power in the field of ship equipment manufacturing, leading the development of cruise ship types, tackling key technologies, and general assembly construction with its excellent ship and offshore engineering design and construction capabilities. This move will not only ensure that the new cruise ships fully comply with international technical specifications and the latest green environmental standards but will also continuously empower the local cruise industry chain, steadily increasing the localization rate of core equipment.

　　In this cooperation, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. under CSSC and China Tourism Group's Huaxia International Cruise Co., Ltd. will serve as the core entities for construction and operation, respectively, each performing their duties and working in the same direction.

　　Promoting the batch construction of large cruise ships not only plays a "chain leader" traction role through the manufacturing end, driving the upstream and downstream industry collaboration in ship design, high-end manufacturing, new materials, and core equipment matching, accelerating the construction of an independent and controllable local cruise supply chain system; but also activates the midstream cruise market through the operation end, improves downstream port hub support, and derives new modern marine service formats such as cruise material supply, ship maintenance and repair, professional talent cultivation, and financial insurance, injecting strong momentum into boosting domestic demand and promoting the upgrade of service consumption.
