The International Center, in collaboration with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, has released the “Central Asia Logistics Research Report.”

　　On March 19, a seminar on the development of logistics in Central Asia was held in Beijing. Representatives from the transportation authorities of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, relevant international organizations, and domestic enterprises and consulting agencies in the fields of infrastructure, manufacturing, and logistics attended the meeting to discuss new opportunities for the development of logistics connectivity in the Central Asian region.

　　This seminar was hosted by the China International Sustainable Transportation Innovation and Knowledge Center (referred to as the International Center) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (referred to as AIIB). Hun Kim, Chief Cooperation Officer and Director General of the Industry, Theme, and Financial Solutions Department of AIIB, fully affirmed the research results and expressed AIIB's willingness to work closely with all parties, combining their respective strengths to provide financial and intellectual support for high-quality logistics infrastructure projects in Central Asia. Liu Peng, Director of the International Center, expressed gratitude for AIIB's support and trust, stating that this seminar is an important measure to implement the consensus on deepening connectivity cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. The International Center will continuously deepen the application of research results, using think tank research to continuously lead and serve regional connectivity, and help build a smooth, efficient, safe, and convenient cross-border logistics network.

　　At the meeting, the International Center, in conjunction with AIIB, released the "Central Asia Logistics Research Report." This report, commissioned by AIIB, systematically assessed the logistics development situation in the four Central Asian countries, proposed a "one core corridor, three key directions" layout plan for the Central Asian regional logistics network, and disclosed the first batch of key focus project lists.

　　This seminar provided an opportunity for all parties to deeply connect on key cooperation projects, becoming a new platform for jointly exploring and promoting the establishment of an international transportation investment and financing cooperation mechanism. Next, the International Center will continue to optimize platform functions, promote the implementation of results, and contribute to deepening China-Central Asia connectivity cooperation and supporting global sustainable transportation development.
