COSCO Shipping Lines issues a service notice regarding the situation update in the Middle East.
In view of the ongoing escalation of conflicts in the Middle East and the corresponding restrictions on maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, to maximize the safety of your cargo transportation and the stability of overall shipping operations, based on the latest risk assessment results from COSCO Shipping Lines, it has been decided to suspend new booking services on related routes from today until further notice.
The scope of business involved is as follows:
Suspend all new booking services from worldwide to the UAE (except Fujairah and Khor Fakkan), Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (except Jeddah), and Kuwait.
