Building a one-stop insurance platform to support Chongqing enterprises’ international expansion.
Focusing on the mission of building a comprehensive inland open hub, Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd. Chongqing Branch has innovatively proposed measures such as co-establishing overseas claims agents and deepening technological empowerment to build the "'Yuxinou' and Western Land-Sea New Corridor Insurance One-Stop Service Platform," providing solid risk protection services for corridor logistics.
As of now, the "Insurance One-Stop Service Platform" has cumulatively provided risk protection of over 600 billion yuan for 42,000 trips of China-Europe freight trains and over 45 billion yuan for 37,000 trips of Western Land-Sea New Corridor trains.
Establish an overseas claims service network. In collaboration with core clients, select international institutions such as Amur Maritime Inspection Company to set up claims service points in 15 countries and regions including Thailand, Singapore, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, forming a service loop covering the three main routes of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor (Chongqing-Guangxi-ASEAN, Chongqing-Yunnan-Myanmar, Chongqing-Guizhou-Beibu Gulf) and countries along the 'Yuxinou' route, achieving full coverage of two-way insurance protection from "shipping out" to "shipping back."
Optimize claims service procedures. Compile a bilingual Chinese-English "Cross-Border Claims Standardized Operation Manual," bringing forward functions such as claims data collection and preliminary assessment to the overseas agent stage, achieving a one-stop service of "on-site survey-assessment-calculation." Utilizing digital means such as big data and artificial intelligence, the traditional seven-step claims process (report-dispatch-survey-assessment-documentation-calculation-payment) is reduced and integrated into three steps: "report-assessment-payment," applying OCR technology to automatically extract claims information, reducing the claims processing cycle for small cases from 30 days to 7 days.
Provide "advance payment" contingency plan protection. Establish a three-level "advance payment" contingency plan of "branch, sub-center, headquarters," ensuring advance payment for major cases within 72 hours, and simultaneously initiating "overseas recovery" and risk control plans, communicating and negotiating with overseas legal teams on subsequent case handling.
