Russia Doubles Fish Exports to BRICS Countries in Five Years

German Zverev, President of the All-Russian Association of Fishery Enterprises, stated that Russia's fishery product exports to BRICS countries have doubled over the past five years.

Zverev said: "Over the past five years, the supply of Russian fishery products to BRICS countries has doubled, and the potential of this market has not yet been exhausted. The leadership of Russia and partner countries has repeatedly noted the high potential of fishery cooperation. We hope that this topic will also be discussed at the BRICS summit."

According to assessments by the All-Russian Association of Fishery Enterprises based on international statistical data, the "fishery" trade volume among BRICS countries reached USD 7.43 billion in 2025, of which more than half — USD 4.08 billion — came from Russia's exports to partner countries.
