Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) reported that three batches of food products imported from China failed to comply with the Japanese Food Sanitation Law. The non-compliant goods included fresh blueberries from Nantong Yungang Trading Co., Ltd. containing excessive procymidone and flonicamid residues, fresh carrots from Qingdao Well Done Imp&Exp Co., Ltd. with mepiquat chloride, and fish paste products from Beihai Jiujiajiu Food Co., Ltd. testing positive for E. coli with excessive bacterial counts. Exporters are advised to strictly verify pesticide residues and microbiological criteria to prevent trade risks.
